So it looks like most photo processing centers are going strictly digital. I have 3 rolls still to develop and quite possibly a nice little SLR that'll grow dust until the next time I can get into a wet lab.
The premiere photo store in my town is going out of business - yes they did digital but couldn't stay competitive against the box stores in the not so specialized digital market.
I have noticed digital seems a bit cheaper than film, it's faster, and less smelly. It has problems adjusting to awkward resolution (72 dpi) shots, and cropping, but other than that I agree it's about time for a change.
Kodak, Target, Wegmans, the little photoshop in the mall....the end is neigh!
