It all started the summer of 05', I picked up a copy of the latest transworld skateboarding and read through the first few pages. While flipping through a advertisment page, I noticed an ad. for "Solid Gold Hits", which included the hit songs "Brass Monkey", "No Sleep Till' Brooklyn", etc., songs I was familiar with. After buying this cd the following day, I enjoyed every track on it, thus began by Beastie collection. After buying my third or fourth record, I got into more old school. I'd play the Beasties every where I went via phone, ipod, etc. My friends at school started liking it, and whenever I bought a new Beastie cd it was always being loaned to someone, even my science teacher borrowed LTI (ironic I finished off that quarter with an A-), and 2 summers ago I started playing N.W.A., which set of even higher music similarites with my friends and more...now everyone comes to me to ask "what's a good old school hit?", or "if I like Biggie, who else would I like?". Just thought I'd share that...

I've got some Transworlds from early 90s. I think JFA was selling records then.
