The 2nd verse is where it all starts to gel for me. I almost shut it off... but you pulled through.... oh, now I'm on the third verse...hmmm. I don't like it again.

You should just loop up the 2nd verse for two minutes. It'd be an awesome remix. This is interesting, but not great. Good try.

EDIT:

2nd Listen I dug it a lot more. I really like the bass lines... It's just parts of the 1st and third verse seem off [and almost uncomfortable] to me. But I like how laid back the whole beat is. I think it'd be a better song if you could find an MC to rap to it w/ original lyrics and such.

Hmm thats interesting that you liked it better the second time. I spend a lot of time on my mixes and listen to them 100 times ver and there things that you might not notice during a quick run through. I purposely make each verse a lil different because I hear too many mixes that bore me...you know same loop over and over again. Thank you for the feedback and 2nd listen. Too bad you couldn't put a finger on exactly what was off, because I like to hear those things from people.
