all they did was throw the ball at a certain spot then they put the net where the ball fell and taped it after the found out where the ball fell

It looks sweet, but what Turd said is probably something like what they did. Also, they wouldn't have done it first time. Although we're only watching the successful attempts so to us it looks like they nail it, but that could be the 100th attempt.

It's like flipping a coin. You say to the camera "I will now flip ten heads in a row" and flip the coin. You keep flipping if you get a head, otherwise you say to the camera again "I will now flip ten heads in a row" and flip. Eventually you will flip ten heads in a row and the camera will have filmed you predicting it right. You just don't show the audience the 178 unsuccessful flips.

But I digress. That vid is awesome.

it is not like the ball spins the same way everytime you throw and you will definitely not have close to the same speed everytime you throw even if you do hit a certain spot on the wall or whatever. i'd say the chances of it just being post-effects is bigger or at least about the same.

i'd say the chances of it just being post-effects is bigger or at least about the same.

possibly depending on how much it cost. but i doubt there was a massive budget.
