Yeah I've decided I'm going to fail anyway so there's no point wasting time trying to learn this shit. And yeah a lot of it is about supply and demand, and balance of payment and marginal utility and all this other useless nonsense. I wouldn't mind trying to learn this shit if they gave it to us in decent terms but sifting through a year's worth of amateurish powerpoint presentations full of complicated graphs we don't even need to see feels pretty futile to me. Oh well, I made £140 today. Who needs a degree anyway? Organic vegetables are the way forward.

they gave you powerpoint presentations? that shit's easy then, you don't even need to use your own notes, they just want you to learn that. or at least, that's what everyone else is going to do, so if you do it too you'll be fine because failing the entire class is a big hassle.

But yeah I pretty much accepted I'm gonna fail, did next to nothing today (or all year) so I'm somewhat less than prepared for the exam which is in roughly 6 hours. Instead of doing some work I just spent like 3 hours on the phone to my girlfriend talking about nothing. Which I usually think is gay but is a lot better than studying, and I came up with a pretty good idea for a superhero-based porn film. I guess I should go to sleep but I don't even feel like there's any point getting up early when it's such a definite fail...

At the end of second year when you figure out that prospective employers look at your academic transcript and it doesn't matter how cute you look in a tight knit sweater tulip skirt and platform heels they're always going to choose the book nerd over you because they've got a better work ethic and such. I wasn't going to turn up but someone called me like 10 minutes before (when I was still in bed) and told me if you don't go to these exams you can't be entered for the re-takes.

Anyway turned out it wasn't essays, I could have easily passed if I'd known and studied for it. I reckon I just about failed it but fuck it, I'm doing retakes in August anyway.

But yeah you're right about it being shit when you don't really want it.

Expect the unexpected. Careful out there or you'll end up with your hand out looking for help. Stay on top of things in the begining and make it a habbit. Life's too short for head trips, and they always catch up to you in the end.

As long as you notice and are concerned, you're further along than plenty of others in your situation. It could always be worse.
