Right, you are allowed one prediction that you think will happen in the final series and i'll dig this thread up next year and see who was right and they bask in the glow of being right..except everyone is going to be wrong

I will stick with the one from the other thread.
the bomb causes/contributes to/is the incident and our Lost heros all have radiation sickness/cancer.
Not very cheerful, but thats my guess

the final shot of the series will be the plane landing in LAX, slowmo, everyone gets off slowly, emotional music, key characters give each other knowing/distant looks then move on...
Sylar remembers who he is.

We'll find out an autistic kid holding a snow globe of the island apparently dreamed all the characters and dialogue of every season.

to paraphrase samuel l jackson, "heroes isnt in the same ballpark, it aint even the same fuckin sport". I have 7 episodes of that crap on my planner and i cant be arsed, its just rubbish now. I know they are both far fetched but at least lost appears to have a storyline and an end and keeps everyone guessing but heroes is just a bunch of made up bollocks now.

beat me to it :p
I don't know. I have a feeling like it might be they get off the plane and don't recognize each other or something like that. I hope that JJ Abrams decides to do something a little more creative. I like not being able to figure it out...

I think its all like a video game like SIMS or Black and White. Where someone is controlling the island and being a god. Everyone has to do tasks and puzzles...

Whats Heros?
Walt becomes Barack Obama.
The smoke monster can only manifest itself as people whose dead body was on the island.

ill stick to mine.
at least half of our beloved cast dies; either through said radiation poisoning and or the purge/war with these new vigilante gunmen who dumped the real john locke on the beach.

after searching through each single thread for each single season of this amazing show in which I am 5 years late to the party, I am here to proudly announce I just discovered LOST over the Thanksgiving break: my friends hit me over the back of the head, handcuffed me to a tree, gave me a sack of bananas and made me watch Season One in its entirety.
I spent this past weekend catching up on Season Two- I am about halfway through the season... trying to catch up to season Five by February...
when does it start up again?

my prediction:
many questions are answered but many more that you really want answered are left open.
also, Sun's father has some connection to the so far un-seen Alvar Hanso (the mystery man behind the Dharma Initiative).

If they'd shot this at the very start of filming, this would be a sick ending. Before Walt grew up and all, intersperse in some of the other major randoms (Linus?).
I went back to watch Lost from the start because of this thread and then I came across Sopranos as I was looking for it and decided to watch that since I have it all and I've yet to watch it.

I've just finished watching all of the sopranos - came back to this thread as I wanted to see when I started watching it - 4 weeks ago only. I have far too much free time.
I think I've decided if the student nurse I sometimes see that goes to the Thursday office is in tomorrow and I can get a moment with her, I'm gonna ask her out. Girlfriends take up time right?

What did you guys think of the episodes last night? I felt a little overload since I watched the recap as the bf wanted to "catch up" as there are several seasons he did not watch. So after 3 hours I was tired.
But I did enjoy it. I can't wait to read analysis of it.

My brain is frickin fried over this.
Is it an alternate time line? What if? Separate dimension!?
Why was Desmend on Oceanic flight 815 and where did he go?
So Jacob's rival has been on the show since the first episode; who ever thought of that...which makes me wonder though if he did anything to John...
What's most confuzzling is "Home"...what? There some other place that is even more physics defining then the Island? O_o

A season where they visit the past.
A season where they vist the future.
A season where they bounce back and forth.
Now a season where there are two universes.
Perhaps in the end, both universes will have there bad points and darkness and light will have a conversation about how nothing changes, just like when they talked on the beach and saw the ship.
or
Those on the island get to pick to either stay on the island or go back to their real lives that would have sucked if they didn't come to the island.
Well after watching it, I've decided that the ending will be two geeks arguing how to interpret the rules of a Warhammer-like game and this season two different rolls have been made and they are playing both games.

ha, that would be awesome. Especially with all of the random cultures and nerdcicle stuff in the show.
When a load of orcs start taking over the island, you know I'm right.
I dunno why I am still watching Lost, it kinda frustrates me but this comic (http://hijinksensue.com/comics/2010-02-03-a-pentagrams-loins.jpg) made a little sense of why I do I think.

this may still happen...but it actually already happened at the opening of the series....
I liked the season opener. I just wish they spread a LITTLE bit of light on Christian Shepard. Its the one thing of the plot (for me) that they never even attempt to explain..
