don't really have any besides getting together once a week for a few months to watch a season of project runway when it's on.

i have my best friends from high school that i see less now because they are off doing gay shit like getting married. but when we are together we always have a good time.


then there is my younger brother and his friends (only 2 years apart) who i am pretty good friends with that i hang out with a lot that are more into stuff im into.

then there are guys i play footy with that i go out with sometimes because we have a common interest and its just good times


usually local barce, or downtown bars for either or of the three.

We even paid a stripper to sing it on stage at a strip club, funny thing is she was embarrassed to do so, um...what? You take your clothes off for a living!

some of my high school girlfriends and i started hanging out once every few months, just the 4 of us, and called it "lesbian luau". it started out like this because one of us wanted to go out without her boyfriend so we settled on rules that meant no one else could come along. we've been luau-ing for about 5 years now, just the four of us, usually with cheese platters involved. it's always fun, but even more fun is trying to get the uber catholic faction (two of the girls) to publicly admit to being part of a lesbian luau.

oddly enough, a group i was in during college had the same tradition. we also pair it with the downing of some pretty harsh tasting liquor.


i'm glad they still carry on the tradition now that i'm gone. it was always the best party of the fall (y)

Weekly karaoke.

Through regular karaoke events, I've found that I am pretty amazing at singing Lady Gaga. I sang the song and intended it to be a joke. Instead, I made people that hate that song really like it now.

We used to go bowling a lot until one fried got injured (unrelated, but couldn't bowl). He's okay now so that might start back up.

Weekly hikes on the horse trails are at the cliffs by the beach with the dogs have now turned into 2-4 times a week depending on our schedules.

My one friend has a great dane, which happens to be scared of the horses. Go figure.

She's playing The Commodore...if you've never been to the Commodore you should really try and get to her show...besides the Orpheum the Commodore is Vancouver's greatest showroom...even after they refurbished it...
