So I bought a combo DVD/VCR aprox 2 years and 27 day's ago...Toshiba,you know, good quality and all...or so I thought...anyway's it came with a 2 year warranty and about 2 weeks ago it started spiting out DVD's when I tried to play them...it just say's "Reading" and then ejects them...so being that the warranty is expired I call up a electronics repair place and they tell me no one repairs players anymore, they're just exchanged for replacement at point of purchase...so fuck this thing is done...what waste, I mean I'll drop it off at recycling depot but it's messed up...bad business, bad ecology...get's me thinking about all the other goods that now have a finite life...and those folks who get a new cel phone every six months...I will NOT buy a Blu-rayyou devious bastards...know what I mean?...(n)

Yeah, I had a digital camera for two weeks and I cracked the LCD screen. I went to have it repaired and it would have cost more than it would for me to just buy a new one. I never did buy a new one because it seemed like such a waste.

the fist two basic digital cameras i had, the battery lid broke off.

the battery lid must cost no more than half a cent and its made to be held on by dual two millimeter plastic tabs... lose that and the camera is worthless
