In Michigan I know when your 16-17 you can be with somebody over 18 but if your parents say no then you cannot do so. If you were to keep seeing each other after that your parents can then take legal action. You might want to check your local state laws.

But in retrospect, you will realize that it was a very bad idea. Men that are willing to date girls that are that much younger, ESPECIALLY at this time in your life as a teen, are men that are unstable.

Yeah you probably shouldn't be seeing this guy but some of these responses are a bit harsh.

Sure you're immature and sometimes naive but some people seem to forget you do have feelings. If you genuinely care about this guy then it's too bad but 15 year olds just shouldn't see 19 year olds- it's very unlikely that he feels the same as you do and his intentions could be dark. Over here girls are legal at 16 but if the age gap is more than 2 years it just seems wrong to go below 18. Everyone loses their virginity at like 12 anyway so that's not the big deal, it's just the fact of being in a relationship with someone who doesn't know what they're doing emotionally.
