i just got off the phone with the xbox people to dispute my warranty (successfully, boo ya, turns out they've been sued before and have to help me for free) and i go to turn on my xbox today just to double check and it's not red ringing suddenly :confused:. it froze a little at first but then i played a game for a minute or two with no problem and it never redringed at any point. i hope they don't get my xbox and say "nope not broken" and send it back only to have it red ring again

Probably the power supply. They'll fix that, send it back, then it will red ring. Since my last red ring in early 07 I've only had it freeze once. Pretty lucky, really.

nah it wasn't the power supply. i checked that and the light was green while the xbox was red ringing so it couldn't be that.

A friend of mine get a job recently with rock star north in edinburgh literally just a few weeks after graduation and has spent the last four months working 12 hour days on this.

im not exactly sure what he's been doing but it's pretty cool regardless.

im pretty excited about how this episode will unfold. all i need to know is that it has parachute jumps...

This is a bunch of bullshit that they aren't putting these spin-offs on the PS3 format.

Learn to live with it. As a PC gamer and a fan of the series since GTA1, I've had to wait over a year for all the installments ever since GTA3 was made 'exclusively' for the PS2; and the last installment (GTA4) was a shitty half-arsed xbox port that took 4 months of patches for it to even run properly.

They will release the extra content on PS3 and PC - there's too much money to be made out of it for them not to. Rockstar are corporate whores.

Played it a bit more and I'm liking it a lot more than TLAD. I hate to say it, but it does feel a bit more "San Andreas" like. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't one of the people that moaned about GTA4 not being San Andreas all over again, but that doesn't make this any less fun.
