Whats up with this religion, they are very adamant about criticism. They just won't allow it. I read today (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,523238,00.html) that wikipedia (http://news.google.com/news/more?pz=1&ned=us&ncl=dGru1e_AEtmjpLMcHaZYHURjI4QCM&topic=t) has block IP addresses from their organization...

The encyclopedia's administrators found that Scientology computers had been repeatedly changing more than 400 pages related to the Church, deleting negative references and adding positive ones. The volume of changes was overwhelming administrators' ability to reverse them, hence the block.

I do not have the slightest clue as to what this religion is, I know that a few mega-celebrities belong to it and that Ron L. Hubbard discovered this religion.

I watched some old documentary about it, that was filmed before anyone knew about it.
Seemed like a load of shit, for one it costs a shit ton of money, probably the only reason celebrities are into it.
You do weird excercises like staring into a strangers eyes for like an hour. And if you give them enough money they tell you that all humans are descendants of alien spirits called "Thetans" or some shit that crash landed on earth because Zanadu something or other banashed them blah blah. Basically some crazy science fiction author made up a bogus story to get money, much like any other religion.

So basically insane folks are very comfortable with the scientology edict. It seems as if they have gone one step beyond Jesus, Muhammad, Allah... whatever it is most folks who go to their places of worship at and just basically say we're aliens.

Also I read where scientology is against the AMA and especially psychiatry. My first impression (which is 99% dead on) says they don't like the competition.
