An Open Letter to NYC Dust Brothers/Matt Dyke remix?

Howdy all!
I'm just curious, have any of you heard of this remix featuring Matt Dike and Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers? It was mentioned in the Paul's Boutique 33 1/3 book but I can't find it anywhere. Any info would be spectacular!

Yeah I remember reading about this too but have never seen it anywhere. Way back there was a preliminary listing for the Japanese Right Right Now Now EP which featured two tracks that ulimately weren't released - Right Right Now Now (Pharrell Remix) and Open Letter To NYC (Friend of Horovitz Remix). You can see a listing for it here (http://www.bk1.jp/product/81792216) (or just scroll down). Anyway, since reading that I've wondered if the "Friend of Horovitz" Remix was the Matt Dyke remix. Hopefully we'll get to hear these one day.

Word, I've posted a couple threads over the last few years searching for the same exact track, but to no avail. I'd give my one frozen testicle to hear that jam, even though Matt Dike's remixes really aren't all that. The one he did on Guerolito was kinda bogus. His remix style is actually kinda similar to Adrock's Small Star remixes.

"Friend of Horovitz", hmmmm, I wonder if that's referring to Minty Fresh Beats...

sorry for not knowing what i am talkin about but is this the same mix they played on their first little radio show about 4 years ago! i remember yauch just sort of mumbled something and then this dub version thingy of open letter came on, is it that, is that something else, does anyone know what i am wittering on about?

Sorry for the late response but I just realized what you were talking about. They played the "Rub N Tug" remix on that show.
