Shoes?

I sometimes have a hard time deciding what shoes to wear with dresses. Do you have this problem? Because a dress is such a single statement all by itself, the shoes are more important than ever because you don't have much else going on, there is more emphasis placed on them, visually. Right? I don't know why, but that's what happens.

I don't want it to look like a bridesmaid's dress.

i've always seemed to judge men by their shoes. it's terrible of me but bad shoes on a man makes me cringe.

i tend to buy a lot of shoes that i don't wear, because i love to buy heels that i can't walk in. :o

the shoes i tend to wear most are my ballet slippers because they're flat.

Hey thank you, I love that thingy!

I tried red flats with it and I didn't think it looked right. I hadn't thought of silver.

The pattern is some sort of aquamarine and white graphic print, not actually polka dots, and the fabric is some kind of semi-smooth satiny cotton. It's sort of dressy, I guess. Like something to wear to a wedding or party, not just for a day out and about. It's not for anything in particular, it's just a dress I got and I thought it looked sort of 50s but I'm not into go full-out retro with a big headband and cherry red lips.

Do you have any other things that you would like shoe suggestions for? I love when someone wears shoes that are unpredictable with the rest of their outfit.

for everyday wear i'd go with the white scholl sandals.

to dress it up i'd go with some silver shoes.
