Awesome. Classic Sam Raimi Madcap fun ala Evil Dead series. Funnest movie of the summer.

9.6 out of 10. Fuck you, Star Trek, this was more fun.

Well, its rated PG-13 so its certainly not as extreme as any of the Evil Dead movies. However, you'll hardly notice. There are a ton of insanely hilarious obscenely gross moments in it. I haven't had that much fun at a movie in a very long time.

The filmwork and the basic feel of it is very similar to the Evil Dead series. The main character drops a familiar Ash quote in one scene, and it feels spot on without being cheesy. Its the kind of movie that will be played at midnight showings in movie theaters on Saturday nights in about 5 years.

Me and my girlfriend loved it. Made us jump a few times.

I didn't like the fact that i kept seeing that gypsy's face when I was trying to fall asleep that night!!! Yeah, it was much more enjoyable than Star Trek!

can't really get into raimi's aesthetic, try as I might. still had fun watching it though. I guess.

This is all good and well comparing it to Evil Dead, but is it as good as Spiderman 3?

I just kinda found it ok.

Maybe the hype spoiled it but I wouldn't praise it as highly as most have.

it was more of a fun movie than a scary movie. I think that's where people got a little confused on the hype I guess.
