I saw the Beasties in Chicago during the Gala tour and before the show they had a couple guys on stage playing records. The music was great and put the crowd in a good mood complete with dancing. Most of it was instrumental and had a very upbeat rhythm. I have no idea where to begin to find some of that music, any help?!
