Barney Frank is now going to fuck up GM like he helped to fuck up Fannie Mae:

So, how many of you liberal, socialist, union, Obama loving BBBB members will put your money where your politics are and go out and trade in your Toyotas, your Hondas, and buy a GM car? This is your chance to back up what you dribble about all the time here. All for union rights, buy a car from union owned GM....want to see more govt involvement in every day life, buy a car from govt controlled GM, ....like nationalized industry like they have in economic powerhouses like Cuba, buy a car from nationalized GM, ...think Obama walks on water, buy a car from Obama Motors......
:D

I would like to get all hyped up and buy an American car, only problem is as an average guy working an average job with long hours and a freeze on my wages... I have 0 leverage other than to sit and watch the whole ballgame slowly crumble. The average citizen is way down the trough of financial aid, we're statistical fodder for political capitol.

It makes me wish that he was my congressman. I don't approve of the whole deal, but it would go down easier if my congressman had the power to keep a bunch of jobs in my district.
P.S. My answer doesn't count because I'm management.

I find it funny that those who bitch about Union politics are usually the people driving the union built vehicles....go figure!
Maybe GM should have realized the game had changed decades ago and got on the ball of modern automobile manufacturing, I don't agree with killing modern technologies or mandatory obsolescence.
I drive a Nissan, I like it....it beats a hulking Hummer
(my previous vehicles being chevy, pontiac and Geo - so don't call me names)

The funny thing about the above statement is most of the folks I associate with and talks politics are being miscast by the right wing nut jobs as the above description.
A fellow worker last night had me in stitches LMAO about how Obama is going to rip off the mask anyday now and Ronald Reagan will materialize.
That said he is really hustling, working and multi-tasking like I expected, so the usual labels put upon the mainstream (that's who your talking to) make 0 sense. Between the above description and the campus liberals thread by RobMoney is showing how out of reality you guys are.
I think Bob Dylan (http://www.bobdylan.com/#/songs/ballad-thin-man) nailed pretty good in most every song he wrote in the 60's, you've missed a subtle but significant shift in your own demographic.

You guys? What guys would that be?
I always enjoy when the left try to paint themselves with this "we're the open-minded ones" brush, but in reality are as guilty as the right of perpetuating stereotypes.

I don't own a car, and I'm not in the market to buy one.
