oh yes it was hilarious. the trailer made it seem like it was just going to be ok. but then i realized they couldn't put most of the jokes in the movie in the trailer. also did anyone notice that the same singer from old school made an appearance.

it was actually a pretty terrible movie as movies go, but the three main dudes were so hilarious it didn't matter.
it's funny, I didn't realize the same director did Old School, and I remember thinking the bad parts reminded me of the bad parts in Old School. Vacant female characters played by terrible actresses, bad pacing, plot holes, and awkwardly raunchy scenes that coulda been in Porky's.
I was laughing the whole time though. I would recommend it.

zach galifinakis' character was the best for me. he was just so consistent the whole time, great stuff

This is what I was afraid of. I don't want to sit through it if every female character is going to be a nagging shrew, nothing more than a plot device, or a life support system for a pair of exposed boobs.
It's probably going to irritate me more than it makes me laugh. Old School is about 50/50 for me (most of that 50 coming from the scene by the pool with Seann William Scott) so I can only enjoy it depending on my mood.
I will probably avoid.

the female characters really don't come into play much in the movie though. it basically follows the guys around, so the girls only pop in start/finish sort of as bookends

yea, which is why i liked the movie... there was no real love interest, no side story romance, no damsel in distress to be saved, or no hole sucking the fun out the movie..... just a fucking series of one joke after another, it was pretty funny.

Zach galifianakis was definitely the best part of the movie

what about heather graham? that part's a side story romance kinda. at least they didn't spend too much time on it.
the more I think about it, it's kind of a shame that the movie was directed by such a hack. it could've been amazing in more capable hands.
hp, it's pretty darn funny. the main characters are so likable, you kind of just have to put aside logic.

i would very much like my bachelor party to go the way it did in this movie. minus my friends loosing me.
Zach galifianakis was definitely the best part of the movie
Zach's the best part of everything.

I've had nights in Sand Diego and Tokyo where similiar 'what did I do between 11:00 and 4:00 am' hi-jinx have gone down - I should make a movie! I'd be a superstar!
btw the last 60 seconds of this flick are pure solid gold

I enjoyed it, but I've come to the conclusion that it wouldn't even be worth watching if not for Zach Galifanakis. The funniest parts to me all revolve around his character and without him and his one-liners, it would've seriously sucked.
I haven't seen it yet, but I take for granted that he's the man. Maybe now he can stop lamenting not getting Kangaroo Jack. "THAT WAS MY TICKET OUT!!!! BUT NO, I GOTTA SIT HERE AND ENTERTAIN YOU FUCKS!!!!!!!"
priceless.

i can sort of agree with this.
i mean, yes his character was key. but these sort of movies always have that key guy, so it wasnt just this movie having a shortfall or anything.

I need to watch more of Zach Galifanakis stuff. I saw the stuff on the instant queue on Netflix, and it was pretty funny but wasnt quite what I was expecting, I guess.
I'll wait til this is in the dollar theater or a decent rip turns up.

Yes it was. The plot was underdeveloped.

"seriously sucked" is way to over the top.
ed helms had a lot of funny stuff.
the asain guy was funny.
the mike tyson stuff was good.
some of the cop stuff.
ect.
clearly he was the highlight, but to say it would have seriously sucked is incorrect.
plus hes a part of the movie, thats like saying the dark night would have sucked without heath ledger. its like wtf do you say to that.

I enjoyed the whole show.
I'll have to keep "on the corner of get a map and fuck off" in mind. I'll be at work and I'm always asked for directions and I ask them if they see a 'tour guide' patch anywhere.
