Just happen to be in the Philly area from Chicago and heard about the show in Baltimore on Tuesday. Its one time I actually have a babysitter and would so LOVE to go! Please anyone who has 1-2 extra tickets email me! I'm a huge fan and have sold extra tickets on these boards in the past.
Thanks!

Holy crap. That's a lot of people looking!
Brett and I were -somehow- lucky enough to score 2 tickets each. We're going with our two other friends who love the Beastie Boys. We were horribly disappointed when that 9:30 Club show happened years back, because people were calling in from all around the country winning tickets and I freakin' lived 20 minutes away and couldn't get in! It looks like I maybe gained some good karma or something, because they managed to come back to Maryland during the 3 months I'm living in the area again.
I hope KateD is there. (y)

Can't wait til tonight to see them. It's gonna be a long day at work...
Anyone know if Mix Master Mike will be with them tonight? I've been unable to see them live since Hurricane was their DJ. I'd hate to miss out on seeing the Beastie Boy without MMM. He's without a doubt one of the top DJ's of all time. I guess the only way it could be better is if Q bert showed up to battle MMM.

Not only was the show incredible, Biz Markie opened. He had some technical problems but it was a great surprise. He came on stage with the B-Boys and performed Benny and the Jets which was one of the many highlights of the evening.
To all the haters, they played a new song off their up coming album. I believe it was called "B-Boys on the cut" and it was great. MMM showed the crowd why he's one of the best DJ's in the world. Watching him perform makes me want to pack up my turntables and never scratch again but maybe it'll just drive me to practice more....
It was great to see the 3 MC's on stage and having fun with each other. You can tell they have been friends for 20+ years. Best show ever.

I'm interested to know if Mike D drummed and rhymed on Lee Majors or if Fredo got behind the kit. And if B-Boys in the Cut sounded better.
And also, a 30 song setlist is a return to flames and fire. Like Hot Lava Shampoo and Magma Exfoliating Moisturiser being used by a teenaged dragon with a throat infection and a poor attitude towards authority.

Thanks for the info! So we're looking at one song from LTI and one song from PB.
Hopefully youtubes surface soon! I'd like to see/hear the new song live.

The two new songs were great live. "B-Boys in the Cut" was performed -not acapella - and it sounds really good, mid-90s kind of sound. Completely different from TT5B, it sounds like they went back to their old roots.
They did have mostly from the Check Your Head and Ill Communication, which I kind of expected. It was a great show, minus douches in the audience. I was floor level, half way back and got shoved to the way back when people started elbowing their way to the front during No Sleep Till Brooklyn. Half of those people had beer too, so needless to say, quite a bit was spilled. And then there were a few guys who were constantly cracking on the Boys, yelling about how they sucked and how they're old and they need to stop playing their instruments, and it was like, dude. You paid $45 to get in here to complain/heckle? Wow. We did meet a few cool fans though. I found Bboy concerts are always mixed with really cool people and then the ex-frat boys looking to get drunk and sing Girls. Sigh.
Other than that, we had a great view of them and I made eye contact with Adrock and told him I want him to have my babies. I don't know if he heard or not. Oh, and Mike D told us that he wanted to nickname Baltimore "Balltown" and people in the audience quickly told him the nickname is "B-More." Usual antics, was very cute. :)
Oh, and the beginning of "Heart Attack Man" was done Country Mike style. (y) And to answer Kid P, Mike D did drum during Lee Majors.

i just want to add this little note. The show rocked for true fans! I have been to every show in the Maryland, DC, Virginia for the past 20 years (excluding Virin Fest) and this was as good as any. The set list rocked the mix of songs rocked and they were into it. I had a VIP bracelet so I had a beautiful vantage point without the idiot hecklers and beer spillers. Oh and by the way the sound at Rams Head is very good. The last time the Boys did a solo show here it was at 9:30 club, five years ago. They were two hours late due to weather, no instruments and did not play that long. I thought this would be a no instrument quick set. I'm glad I was wrong. This was an awesome show!

Good reviews, thanks folks!
that set list= me very jealous!
really want to see more video (and while where at it for any audio to surface, patience is a virtue and all that, but c'mon- that's an epic show!)
Also I'd be curious to hear if the el bando instrumental is in fact what was behind Bboys in the cut. So they played instruments while preforming it right? Still a little unclear on this. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
