I have a thing about clean shoes and boots…I think it could almost be border line obsessive compulsive…yep…I’m always shining them…scuffs annoy me to no end…I’m pretty casual about most things attire related…but I’d say this is a little more…especially during snow or rain seasons…not sure what it’s all about...maybe a European thing…when I was a kid there was an Ital man who used to come around with this cart, ringing a bell and he’d sharpen your knives and shine your shoes…I love that memory…and I always seek out the shoe shine in airports as well…got any similar hang ups?

I can dig it...my girl was going through some boxes stored at her parents house and dug up this bag of hair she'd had cut off when she was a kid...it was like 4 feet long at the time...it just wigged me out for some reason...her in the sink or the tub drain I'm fine with...but this bag of hair freaked me out...

I am like this, except I can handle the clutter for a day or two. Then it's over. I can't do ANYTHING else until I clean it.

Also when I'm working on something from home, be it job related or cleaning, I hate getting interrupted. I know some people like breaks but I don't. I just want to get it over with so I can be done with it.

Yep,I empathize...I'm a Virgo...a place for everything and everything in it's place...particularly when I'm watching movies at home...I need an absolutely uncluttered line of sight...peripheral vision included...:confused:

I love clean car interiors - an inch of dust on the dashboard or piles of dirt on the floor (especially fast food and cigarette containers), and crud stuck to the seat is disgusting. I dust my dash off almost every week.

oh and I hate those overly printed wardrobes - the kind with wings and skulls and guns and paisley and shit all layered over each other. I can't tell if something is designer or from K-mart :confused:

Yeaaaahhhh, this is problematic for me. My car is always a disaster. I don't ever have crud on the seats or cigarette butts but it tends to look like a Tower records exploded on the inside. People have to move the open jewel cases, inserts, cd holders in various sizes and colors and loose cds from the seats and floor before they can get in. I have also been known to inexplicably cart around at least two pairs of alternate shoes. :confused::o

I guess the clutter thing does not extend to my morning commute during which I seem to be capable of relaxing.

I just like things clean and orderly. I can't realx in a messed up place. Car is the same way. I even clean the fridge once (sometimes twice) a month. I mean, I take everything out, open it, see what needs to be pitched, whipe off everything, wash each shelf, bleach the entire fridge, and then place each item back making sure the label is facing towards the door. I'm a total freak like that.

My flatmates always leave their dishes on the sink for days, and not just a couple, no, about 10 plates, 6 bowls and a shitload of cups. How many plates does a person have to use in a day?!
Anyway, usually I just can't look at it anymore and I end up doing their dishes.

Also, they never clean up when they drop stuff on the floor, never buy new toilet paper and never take the trash out.
And the dude always leaves the toiletseat up and leaves splashes of pee on the floor. EWWW! :mad:

They're nice people, but I just can't stand it.

Oh, and I hate plastic buttons on clothes. I have no idea why, but it always looks tacky and cheap. :s

yes...most likely false...I'm not sure what your folks were trying to accomplish...I suspect you may have been kidnapped or sold to them by gypsy's...also I have a thing about people whom refuse to abide by the traits assigned to them on the astrological wheel...oh and people born on the cusp...there can be no switch and hit when it comes to your sign...
