So I had to use a coworker's laptop for a while working on this event. So we're both out of town on this thing. I was waiting for something to finish, so I got a little bored.

I was curious, so I snooped to see where he had cookies from (feel free to shame me for looking at that), since that's always good for a giggle. I found some of the usual suspects like bangbros and redtube and whatever - but the guy also had a bunch of suspicious "escort" type site cookies, "fantasy date" setups and a girl's blog who was advertising a GFE thing.

Maybe I'm really sheltered from this kind of thing, but I only know a couple guys who have ever really gotten into that stuff. I clicked it closed and saw the guy later that night, he's been married for a few years and just had his first baby. The guy takes time out from getting ready for gigs to shop for baby clothes. He does a lot of work-related traveling.

Should I not be surprised? Am I being naive?

Well, porn sites can add all sorts of cookies if you aren't on top of what you are viewing. I mean, people still use windows and think pop ups are normal. So he could of just clicked from redtube (only recently found out about this site) advert and then clicked again and before he knew it he couldn't close down the browser quick enough.

But yeah, I do think looking at some1s history is kinda worse; to me its like looking at their bank statements. But I am a bit anal on privacy on the web etc so I have my problems to.

edit: having said that, I do think people should take more responsibility on house keeping of their web usage and files etc. If you aren't backing up or cleaning up after yourself you are gonna get hurt eventually or have some stuff come out about you that you don't want to be known.

edit II: thinking about it to, he could of lent his laptop to some1 else who did all that stuff since he let have free usage on it.
