Beastie Boys - I got to know!!

Dear MCA, Adrock & Mike D.;

Last year (in june), after the premier of the movie MCA directed, I gave him some artwork for the Beastie Boys. I am assuming that MCA shared the artwork with Adrock & Mike D. well i would really love to know if guys liked the artwork and what did u do with it?
Contact me however u want to. It would be very kind of u to answer. :)

What I'm sure Mr Tang meant by the above statement is that Yellow should be prepared for a protracted and rather unpleasant legal action by Capital and the Beastie Boys(tm) that will lead to the accused forfeiting all legal rights to make and distribute any art work or art works that bear any resemblance to the defendants or their likeness or trademark with SIGNIFICANT jail time the likely outcome of said action.

This could get very ugly. Lawyer up my friend...

I still dont understand what i did wrong, if anything. I painted one day some art in which i gave to the Beastie Boys. I came on their website and asked the beastie boys what they thought, and i gave camo the photos of the artwork for the forum. soooo

wtf? is the artwork really being used for the album? Can someone confirm this? I would love it if someone with authority qould discuss thus with me. I can delete this thread since the album isnt out yet. i have nothing but respect for the Beastie Boys (thats y i created the artwork) and I believe that the Beastie Boys will be fair with me. The BB ARE NOT THE TYPE TO FUCK OVER FANS!! We can & will work something out peacefully! like i said i have nothing but love for the Beastie Boys

look, chances are no one will do anything, but we're not lawyers.. its just a bit of friendly concern. you only have maybe about a 25% chance of doing hard time. they let tax criminals do community service some times, you're probably ok.. i wouldnt get too broken up about it

Most threads must die as it is the natural course of the electronic communication life cycle here. I have birthed many threads that died in utero, still born, suffered agonising or creeping deaths and so on. It is sad and difficult to let go – I know. Perhaps there is a way to resuscitate your thread but after a brief glance it is difficult to figure out how unless Adam Yauch comes to the rescue by making a post of art appreciation, causing a new found appreciation for the Fine Arts among all board members. We can then imagine Yauch purchasing your art and explaining to the naysayers how they have underestimated its relevance to the Beastie Boys. Well that would certainly rescue this thread from its near death experience. But alas reality soon sets in and we all must let go of our favourite threads created and wait until another day to revive the fiery phoenix ;)
