hey can anyone name other bands/artists' "part 1" and "part 2" albums? are their any/many in existence? I can't think of any off the top of my head. there are similar things, but they don't really have "Part" in the title, like...

Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I and II
George Michael - Listen Without Prejudice Volume 1

While I hope and expect there is a second album of new material coming soon, I also wouldn't be too shocked if they put "pt. 1" in the title as a joke.

Mike D mentioned something about 3 new albums in an interview a while back. I thought he was kidding but maybe not.

Knowing the Beasties, they will probably be around that long.

De La Soul - AOL
Jay-Z - Blueprint
Method Man - Tical

Nothing coming to mind with PART in the title, but lots of bands have done the 1,2, 3=trilogy thing.

Led Zeppelin

and it kinda looks like the same cat that Mike D is holding on the back of Science of Sound Anthology cover. But that can't be cause then that would mean the cat is approx 40 years old!
but heh, if we're talking about time travel here anything is possible. :p

They also could have cloned the cat, they are scientists after all.
