You need to disable the side buttons in the mouse settings, otherwise you will go insane.

im a die hard mac user, but even i use a usb pc mouse. its much handier right clicking aswell rather than ctrl-clicking

I have problems on this macbook I'm on right now. it's got a touch pad mouse, and it's sensitive as fuck. I just think it's worn out and "on the fritz" as they say.

I've gotten pretty good at barely touching it, although it will sometimes jump and click on whatever it wants and delete whole blocks of text in emails when all I wanted to do was hit "return". which is totally awesome! NOT

go to the little apple icon at the top left of the screen and click 'system preferences'. then keyboard and mouse options.. tanx freeb - problem solved. (its been two months now.. THANK YOU)

the "i" and "k" do not respond on the apple keyboard at work, and the mouse goes nuts and jumps to the left corner, which brings up all the applications being used...

oh, I've done the system preferences. it's on the least sensitive setting, yet it is still a dick.

i set something weird on my laptop that made it do things just like that, double check the settings. if not, hammer.
