I've never been so horrified watching a movie in a theater. Absolutely the worst movie in history.

I figured it'd be bad, and I haven't seen it, but I didn't think that in a blockbuster film there would be such awful, obvious racism included in it.

The shots of Megan Fox in the daisy dukes, while giving a very nice view of her fabulous body (to me, at least), just really show me all I need to know about this movie.

I can't wait to reward the Hollywood rich for making crap movies with my purchased ticket for tonight.
Apparently, its just a special effects fest. Like when you look into my eyes.
I must say I'm rather confused by the amount of criticism this film got. I didn't hate it when I seen it *shrug*
after sitting through the first worthless pile of crap, there's no way i'm seeing the sequel. instead of watching these movies you could watch independence day, as it's pretty much the same deal.

Evidently it "is one of the greatest achievements in the history of cinema, if not the greatest. You could easily argue that cinema, as an artform, has all been leading up to this. It will destabilize your limbic system, probably forever, and make you doubt the solidity of your surroundings. Generations of auteurs have struggled, in vain, to create a cinematic experience as overwhelming, and as liberating, as ROTF." (http://io9.com/5301898/michael-bay-finally-made-an-art-movie?skyline=true&s=x)
And all I needed was giant transforming robots and buttloads of explosions but evidently I will get the highest evolution of the cinematic artform to boot. Yea!

it was what it was. A Michael Bay film.
If you went in thinking "oh hell, i bet this film will provide myself with an intellectual understanding of the relationship between transmorphing robots and the average human, with a great storyline" then you clearly are retarded.
It's just a giant action and sfx film. And in all honesty I think it was a damn good movie cinematically. One of the better looking films in a long time, and the action was on par with what I expect from massive fucking robots.
If you want a good time, it's either this or a hooker. Both have good explosions*.
*except tf2 had the largest explosion in cinema that included real actors.

It was ok but no where's near an Empire Strikes Back level of awesome. Some special effects were great (the ball bots, Jetfire, and Megan Fox's ass).
I thought it was a bit blurry/shaky for most of the action and the Dialog was plain bad, not enough characterization of the new robots (some of them are quite popular in the true Transformers universe) and the plot was like what? And when did the Matrix and Species and Alien become a part of this?
It had much more potential

I gave it a 1 instead of -15 million only because we got to see that sweet, sweet Turturro ass.

The sfx were damn tight.
But it was too long. No need for this.

i still haven't seen the first one, so...yeah...
i'd rather watch this reenactment (http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/8875-tf2) over and over again than actually go out and see the movie anyway. (y)

Roger Ebert is brilliant
f you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.

I saw it last night, I'd give it a 4. I watched the first one the night before, I reckon that was a decent 6.5/7 or something.
Shit like the robot's giant balls and the "black" robots with gold teeth genuinely made me wonder if Michael Bay is retarded.

Saw it last night and agree with Padster. The drunk guy in the front row who stood up and argued with his friend for about 15 minutes was more entertaining.
Did anyone catch when and why Shia turned up suddenly with his hand all wrapped in gauze?
If they had cut out all of the pointless subplot stuff (college, love story) it might have actually been watchable. I actually found it excruciatingly boring. And I like action movies.

Yeah, I guess he was in a car accident during filming
lucky for him they found an excuse sorta....
that movie went for ages, man.
it's got so much epicness in it; and not the good type. so much crap could have been cut out of it... like as if they got all the dvd "deleted scenes" and just chucked them in anyway. i, too, was a bit bored through most of it. the twin autobots were so awkward....if you're gonna include them two strictly child fodder characters, don't have another decepticon say "fucking" and "son of a bitch" in the same movie. it's a bit hypocritical.
megan fox is just ridiculous.
Well I guess if you put it that way (http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/06/bonus_robs_transformers_2_faqs.php)

^All the shit that was going through my head during the entire movie, aside from being totally offended by off-color toilet humor.
