i love them but the wife makes me put them in solitary confiment in the fridge cos she hates them that much she doesnt want any olive vibe contaminating the rest of the stuff.
what say you?

i LOVE olives
but really only straight from the jar, or in salads. do not like hot/cooked olives.
used to open the fridge, get an olive from one jar, piece of marinated feta from another, and eat together (y)
green stuffed olives are my favourite.

olives are quite delicious. i usually try and shove them down someones throat when i find out that they don't like them
but i can understand the confinement thing, because they do contaminate everything
pizza: light sauce, light cheese add feta, green olives, and red pementos....(y)
Real ones in Greece taste so different than the jarred variety. They're really bitter but tasty at the same time.
I love all types of Olives, Pimento stuffed, mozzarella stuffed, black, brown, green...all of them.
I choose black because they define a pizza for me! (y)

like guiness from ireland!
its the face that people who dont like them make, its the same face whenever the subject comes up like you have just broken into their house on christmas day and pissed on their kids.

I love olives. Especially green olives stuffed with jalapenos or garlic. But I don't discriminate, red and black olives are yummy as well. Whole Foods has an excellent mix of green and greek/red olives spiced with garlic and red pepper flakes in olive oil that are my favorite.

In the old country theres a traveling market that set's up down the street from my dad's place and a truck that looks like a coffee wagon comes that opens up on both sides and it's the wide world of anything and everything olive...infused oils, tapenades, cosmetict stuff and every imaginable kind of olive in the world...some are actually qute nasty, aged ones in particular,in these clay pots...and these massive jars for weddings or display in stores and restaurants...

just thought i'd share that i was making some pasta and cheese and i chucked some olives on, i dropped one on the kitchen floor. So i shouted me dog over who is always looking for scraps like that, she sussed it out for about 10 seconds before deciding it wasnt for her. And i have seen this dog eat things a lot more disgusting.
