Do you think that's something you have to 'learn', though? I'm wondering if through popular culture, young people are so sold this idea that sex is, like, the be all and end all of everything, that when you are a young adult you have this idea that any sex is good sex, and that maybe you have to be a bit older and have developed a more sophisticated palate, in more ways than one, to know. I've never had "bad" sex. Wouldn't that just be rape? I think a better word would be "uninteresting" sex. It would, however, be totally bad if I was raped. Of course it is hard, some would say impossible, to rape the willing.

I wasn't really thinking at all of rape or coerced sex, that's a whole other category. I meant more like, sex that is really disappointing, or uncomfortable, or just ends up not being worth all the effort, etc. For example, like if there's a guy you really faniced, and you get with him and find out he's got a really tiny weenie, and no other skills to make up for it. Or alternately, that he's got a huge wang, but that he's like a bull in a china shop with it and just bangs away at you gracelessly so you're like "ow-ow-ow-ow". Or maybe he's got an average one but that's about the best you can say for him in general, sex with him is just sort of... average. And so after it's all over you think, gosh for all that time and energy, I could have made a really excellent curry.

I'm guessing most people have had bad sex at some points in their life. I mean, you could be with someone who you've always had great sex with but for whatever reason you just might not feel it at that moment... Although I've never turned down sex (in the sense with current partner cus I don't feel like it - I've turned down sex cus I don't fancy them or I'm already with some1) and at least 95% of the time I've loved it - probably more thinking about it.

But good food is also the same, you could make the most amazing sandwich and nearly cum off it but make the same thing again you might not be feeling it although its still good.

In other words, the title of this thread can be true. Also in both instances, sex and food get better as you get older.
