I love how the bboys carry aforementioned words or phrases from album to album:

1) On TT5B, AdRock says:........at a Gala Event......

and their following tour was called A Gala Event.

2) on TT5B (again) MCA says: .....I keep the Hot Sauce Hot not mild and

weak.......

and here we are 5 years later and we have Hot Sauce Committee pt.1! !

I love it !

Sorry, just thought I would share my Bboys thought for the day.

MCA also drops the infamous line "cool as a cuucumber in a bowl of HOT SAUCE" in So Whatcha Want.

'Twas an "A." I mean, if we're talking from Moe Dee, that is. I gave 'em a 10 though!

in body movin MCA responds to the question, "MCA where have you been?"
He replies, "Packed like sardines in a tin."

think hes referencing the album cover or maybe thats how they came up with the album art for Hello Nasty

And don't forget the Sharpie check mark over Rick Rubin's face in the Check Your Head photo collage.

And don't forget the Sharpie check mark over Rick Rubin's face in the Check Your Head photo collage.

do you know i must've pored over that collage at least a dozen times since 92(including noticing the check mark)....but never thought to put 2 and 2 together. his head is checked!

(i mean I know about the stories of how they supposedly played with that playing card deck which came out in 91 which had various political people involved with the Gulf War on them, and checked their heads, and that maybe where the title came from.
also, maybe it being from adrock scribbling over some jazz dude's head on his album cover and physically writing "check your head" above that.)

I knew those stories. but not the Rick thing. thanks. good eye!
