Dear Beastie Boys, (mostly looking at Yauch, since he's the major poster of the three)

Please do a track with Prime Minister Pete Nice, (from 3rd Bass fame) on Part 2 of Hot Sauce Committee. That would be most ill. He needs to dust off his mic and do something. :(

Thanks,
Miho

All y'all haters are coming out of the woodwork. What's wrong with Pete Nice? He's a fine lyricist.

Haters coming out of the woodworks? I only see 3 and we are regulars.

I like 3rd Bass and I think they should dust off the mic, but not with the Beasties.

Now if the Beasties did a few more tracks with Biz Markie, that would be great. I love hearing the little snippets of the Biz in the studio with the Beasties.

Not your best call, Miho. The fully fledged collaboration with the Biz is looooooong overdue. I was expecting it on Weekend Warrior.

I would rather see them doing something with Zach De La Rocha

Double Seconded. I'd even settle for the 10-year-reunion of the defunct Rhyme & reason Tour.

Couldnt happen, Part 2 is already recorded apperantly.

That would be one hell of a in-your-face political song. Maybe on the album after HSCII? We all know they can't stop.

I always thought it was shame that Rage broke up right before Bush was elected. Imagine all the angry music they could have made for those eight years.

Well, I mean, Pete Nice had very well-crafted, almost cryptic rhymes. I'm a big fan of his. And he had this smooth style. imo, he would mesh well with the Boys.

I'm not convinced that part 2 isn't a joke.

Maybe we'll see a Pete Nice cameo on Hot Sauce Committee III: Hot Sauce Takes Miami

He had well crafted hair, nice suits, an awesome staff and this ill ass clown with a high top fade and some number carved in the back that followed him around yelling stupid shit like he didn't like white people or something. Best part about that was the ass clown was white himself; almost like he was actually very UNcomfortable in his own skin.

All joking aside Pete Nice is a very smart guy who writes books about baseball now and he is part owner or something of a very cool bar. He wieghs about 400 pounds and is hardly recognizable but I always liked him too except for the disses and that ass clown.

Guest shot though......for the love of god please stop now and take NAS off the new record while your at it.

.......and get MMM the hell out too.

Really, sensibly, they'd be better off not.

gotta agree on this one. political rapping is not the beasties' fortay. their hearts are in the right place, but Zack would just fade them into thin air on that tip.

now if Zack were to do the accomadating and slip into some silly bboy shoes, well, now that would be a real spectacle...(y)(y)

3rd bass were a couple of posers. it was Def Jams' attempt to make another hip hop act to counter act the beasties, they sucked.

While your premise may be accurate, I find your conclusion to be a bit misguided. 3rd Bass was fun suckah... (You definetely get the gas-face for that comment!)
:p

This would require a change in artistic venue (http://www.amazon.com/Baseball-Legends-Brooklyns-Green-Wood-Cemetery/dp/0738534781/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1246818787&sr=8-1) for the boys as the prime minister has actually kept busy, just not in the hip-hop world. The boys could probably pull off an obscure baseball history piece I bet, although I would venture to say historical fiction may be more their cup of tea. Maybe, could be wrong.
