They are super tiny. The one i saw was 35% smaller than a normal business card. Totally felt odd in my hand.
Also right on the back it says in bold print that it is printed on “100 percent post-consumer recycled paper”
I will hopefully start seeing more of these. But I dont really know if it will catch on, they cant change the size of the holders in wallets etc because they do double duty as credit card etc holders.
On the other hand It scares me to stop and think about how much paper is used daily in just our operation alone even if we decided to switch over to these new lil tiny business cards.

you mean like moo card (http://uk.moo.com/en/products/minicards.php) stylee? or regular-dimensioned business cards only.. smaller?
i love the moo card style and size, i see them everywhere nowadays. unfortunately recycled paper is more expensive so the starving artists/graphic designers/web geeks early in their careers and freelancing who i deal with normally plump for the el cheapo option.
my card at work is on recycled paper (part of the reason we dont have friggin air conditioning at work is because they couldn't find a system green enough, arrghhh *melts*) but for a digital media company it is shamefully fucking ugly *burns them all*

see, now those are cute.
The ones I saw just had about an inch cut off of it length-wise. Thats why it just looks so...odd.

whenever I see these leetle mini ones I always go "ha" to myself and then throw them away when I get back to my desk. I never save business cards anymore unless it's someone very novel or cool.

I saw the chief scientist of one of the large environmental-friendly agencies on Letterman a couple of weeks back. He said something along the lines that you have to start somewhere. So smaller biz cards on recycled paper is a start.
I'm having 6 presentation given next week entirely electronically -- no handouts.

I don't think that I could learn anything in a class without paper. It might help if the speaker knew how to effectively use power point, but few people do.
I'm a grumpy old lady I guess. But I agree that there are many stupid traditions that need to go by the wayside. For one thing, I have boxes of business cards that I never use before we change our location or my job title changes and we have to throw them all away. Actually, we shred them so a janitor can't find them in the trash an impersonate me.
