and I was holding my knives like a murder in a movie as I thrust them into the woodblock.
I've never wanted to murder anyone with a knife before.

but you do now?
I like to joke about stabbing, but I don't think I could do it.

I was at a BBQ last weekend and around 3pm I was out of my mind, damn electric lemonade, anyway....I walked into the kitchen to get yet another glass of said lemonade and there was a huge watermellon with a knife sticking out of it. I had the sudden urge to stab it a thousand times, is that bad? I heard someone ask later who murdered the h2o mellon.

I don't really want to stab or cause harm to any person or food. It was just the way that I was holding it that made me take pause. In a true knife fight, you would never hold a knife with the point coming from under your fist. A fake knife fight, oh sure. Its fake.

I'm really not a fan of having my skin punctured. Plus, I make this face when I think of a blade sliding against my ribs going in or being pulled out so I could only imagine the face I'd make if that would really happen. I don't think anyone would want to witness that.
I just found some chocolate under my fingernail. Score!

The farm where I'm working right now kills and butchers its own cattle on site. It's a new experience for me, I don't usually deal with them until they're ready to hit the grill. So I guess knives and watermelon are fun, but cows and chainsaws are a little different.
