View Full Version : A little mega mix I dont with a hint of beastie boys
So I noticed that http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/ was doing a competition for mega mixes. Seeing as I'd never done a mega mix I figured I'd give it a go. I forgot how close the deadline was so it ended up being a bit rushed towards the end but meh.
Features 2 acapellas and one instrumental from the beasties and a whole heap more.

really good - some good tracks - really liked the family guy bit. the only thing i didnt like was some of the fade in/outs ( only constructive critcism, i know fuck all really i tried to have a go at doing a megamix yesterday but realised that a) the closing date was saturday and b) i was shit at it) but some of those tracks went really well. I registered over there and gave a few of those other comp entries a listen and i didnt hear anything as good as this

Thanks :) yeah some of the fades could of done with some work. I didn't work on it for ages and it wasn't until Saturday evening that I remembered about it.
Yeah, I had no idea about making mega mixes but I had a look at some on youtube that showed the setup they had in acid pro. I had never used markers to change bpms until doing this.
I was kind of limited in the music I was using as I wanted to start with sponge bob but its, about, 122 bpm and I couldn't really do big drops in the bpm in a mix of 6 mins. I think it got down to 107 by the end of it
