What's the longest you've went without a vacation?

I'm on 2 years now and working some crazy hours on top of it. I'm trying to save up vacation hours so I can take a longer vacation. I'm not taking mine till august.

The greedy place I work for only allows a week per year and it's not long enough for me to take care of everything as far as making sure the whole family and friends meet up.

I'm a grouchy sunuffabeetch. I thnk I should take one once a year, regardless of whether everyone meets up.

Never that long, I don't think I've worked longer than a half year without some sort of break/vacation. I would be in nasty mood w/o a holiday.

I also usually make at least one beautiful summer day a sick day. So I can just go to the local beach and kickback all day long.

You need to get the fuck out of that place once in awhile, it's important not only for your own peace of mind but also for your actual job performance. Perspective doesn't happen without change.

I bet you occasionally do fly off the handle on the job.

6 years without going away really but that doesn't count day trips or extended weekends away. So it depends on how you define it.

If you consider visiting family a vacation then 2 years. If you mean like actual niceplace funtime vacation then it's been a fucking long time. I actually think my family left me at home the last time we went to disney world because of my "crappy attitude" and "fuckin' up in school."
