Paintball!

I always thought it would be fun but never did it. This guy at work is arranging an outing and he said that I should count on buying at least 2,000 balls.

The plan is to go from 10 - 5. 2,000 balls for 7 hours? That's like 5 shots per minute.

Is it really that crazy?

I feel like I might be getting in over my head here. A couple of these guys have their own guns and when I asked them if we can use paintball grenades one dude said they outlawed those a few years ago. I was joking about the grenades, but he was serious.

Any tips? Should I not fuck with this?

Paintball seems like the the kind of thing that could get you in trouble if you underestimate how seriously some of these guys take it.

fucking good advice there as I got shot in the neck when I did it.Always keep your goggles on too.Take some pharmacy friendly 'Anti-Stax' too if you have them as your legs will ache like fuck after running around playing soldiers for hours(y)

if youre into it, it might be worth getting your own gun i think.

from when i've been paintballing, the rental guns we used's aim sucked and were unpredictable.

also, if you've planned a day and it turns out to be humid or drizzling, don't do it. the last time we went it got kind of rainy (the place stayed open) but it completely sucked because you cant see shit out your goggles. and at the place i went they disqualify and eject you if you even try to slip a finger in to wipe off the fog.. so basically you'll be firing blindly.

but the game itself is tons of fun. definately fuck wit it. yeah, wear protection and out for any exposed skin.

i mean IF you get it somewhere like your wrist or whatever, it'll sting. but its no more pain than youd have falling of a bike or getting smasked in the face by a soccer/base/basketball..

I will, I just fear running into some hardcore jerks with custom made weapons aiming for my skin from 200 yds out.
