Look for ECM-V1 SONY Variety Microphone.

I bought one on eBay a few years back. I'm not sure if they are still in production. There are a bunch of YouTube videos that show off the features.

It's a cool little mic. But, you can get more sounds if you have a bullshit Radio Shack mic and an effects processor like a Korg Kaoss Pad.

But, if you want one just for the Beastie's novelty... I'm sure you can find one around if you look hard enough.

they bought that mic at radio shack back in the early 90s, i'd be surprised if those things are still around, really. is radioshack even in bizness anymore? ebay is definitely your best bet, if any bet at all.

Yes. Correct. They used them in the CYH and IC era.

We were playing around with his Dad's recording shit, I learned Gratitude during that time. We made these awful rambling jams over casio drum loops, him playing guitar and me on the bass. Funny.
