yeah, I was going to say it's a little photoshoppy. are those people scared and upset or are they dancing?

I like the top section best, it would be cool if the filter effect was eased up and it was just that image faded into black space at the bottom. or something.

Once it's complete I'm going to shade it in a bit via free hand.

I just gave him some idears and he whipped it up.

DW: are they scared or happy to dance? Both is preferable.

I've been setting this project back for almost 2 years. The blueprints are almost as old as Chinese Democracy.

There are many talented pokes around here, you should have a BBMB cd cover contest (y)

A couple things I found wrong with this:

Low resolution (120) - all images used for this must be at least 300dpi (including the final product)

Overzealous use of solarization filter - anyone can make this effect with a click of their mouse

Lack of cohesiveness of the images used (Vietnam and safari party?)

No space for clean use of typography - looks like there will be overlapping of the image and it won't look good - unless it's packed down in the bottom left

don't take the critiques personally

The kind of vibe is just a bonfire party, something to affiliate with the band name 'Bivoüac'. People dancing around a fire- etc.

I wanted some choppers because 2 of the songs are in reference of helicopters.

It's pretty much all I have in mind, I like the top portion. The dancing scene is a little iffy.
