just keep your grades up, don't neglect your responsibilities, and think about why you want to choose weed over your best friend. ask yourself what's more important to you and why?

you can seriously save yourself a lot of hassle by being smart about the "bad" things you and most every other teenager want to do. if you don't learn to control yourself, everyone else will try to control you.

well, that's good to hear. maybe you and rainey just need some time apart or something. I think it will be okay. maybe you should ask her why her mom thinks you're "bad".

when I was young, my friends parents didn't like me very much because they thought I was a bad influence. I didn't do drugs or drink or anything, and I don't know exactly why they thought I was "bad"...I think I was just less obedient or something.

just give it some time, if you guys are truly best friends, you'll get through this.

Well, sweetheart, look at the facts. You sneak out in the middle of the night to meet up with older guys and you smoke herb. If I had a teenage daughter I probably wouldn't want her to hang out with you either. Not that I'd be that draconian about it but still. She's being harsh on you because she doesn't want to go through the same thing with daughter number 2 that she went through with daughter number 1.

And if Rainey told her these things maybe Rainey isn't comfortable with them and that's okay at her age.

Of course, I was a pretty square teenager. I didn't drink/date/makeout/have sex/do anything until my second semester at college and even then I took it slow. At the time it felt lame but looking back I couldn't be more grateful.
