Not travelling from England to see the rest of shit on offer, rather waste the $170 (two tickets) than add a plane ticket to all that cost for the sake of it.

Know anyone that wants a Friday ticket? I don't think there is anyone they could put on now that I would care about seeing especially since they moved Mos Def to Saturday. Just saw that they did put out the schedule and the disrespect of having Kings of Leon on at the same time as the Beasties, if they hadn't cancelled was going to piss me off too. No one is playing at the same time when dipshit Pearl Jam is...Ugh, ACL is lame.

Yep this is my 2nd time too, cancelled on me when I had bought tickets to see them in Boston with Rage. Then Rage broke up, I still get upset about it :) Just praying that it is as treatable as they hope and he gets better and they are around for a long time for me to see them again and again :)

i've bought tickets to like 3 other concerts since buying my 3 day pass to ACL festival.. i can't remember for the life of me how tickets get delivered or when. anyone get their tickets yet? I can see they charged my credit card. i searched all my e-mail addresses and can't find any info anywhere on my purchase.

I would expect that with any festival. although nerds like us here cater our entire trip to concert festivals to revolve around the beastie boys, the organizers will fill the time slot and the show will go on...

but Front Gate Tickets is also in charge of the Congress Theater in Chicago, and they are going to take $9 for every Beastie boys ticket sold(n)

I don't know if it is worth disputing with your credit card company, but it's a tough spot to be in...

I was tempted to see if I could get a refund, but I like KoL, so decided to keep it. Which is for the best, because my friend that I'm going with already booked the hotel and hadn't told me yet.

My ACL tickets emailed straight away when I bought them. Well I was sent a link with a password which I followed and entered the link. I would double check your email. The email came from "2009 ACL Music Festival" <acl@frontgatetickets.com>

Even though the band might have good intentions the people who run the show are still the faceless organisations that will take as much money from the fans as possible. Plus they'll have insurance for this type of thing they will still take pleasure in fucking a stranger in the ass.

Don't know what kind of tickets you have to ACL, but they are sold out of 3 day passes and people are looking to buy them because they are only selling singles for $80 now - so you might try selling 3 day passes on Stub Hub or e-bay, craigs list.

This is my 3rd/4th cancel - I had sets to the Beasties/RAge with Busta Rymes fest in D.C. (planned a vacation around it), plus tickets to see Beasties/Rage in New Orleans, now the Congress Theater show and Lollapalloza (again, planned a vacation around it). Will still get to see others at Lolla, but disappointing all the same.

Interesting side note, my friend's brother called me today and told me he heard that KoL are coming to Oklahoma, but he didn't know when. I told him I was seeing them on my birthday (yes, I was gonna see the B-Boys on my b-day :() so I checked it out, and it's the next day. And I'll still be in Austin. *headdesk*

yeah, i just got the e-mail on the tickets. i had to call, because for some reason i never got any e-mail notifying me that my purchase went through and when they would be shipping so they updated my e-mail address.

i've never listened to kings of leon... i probably should before acl. ha
main reason i was going was for beastie boys though. i keep checking to see if they get anyone to fill their spot.
