First of all, sending love and prayers to MCA, hope you have a speedy recovery! I had tickets to the LA and Austin shows so I cried for the shows and for my favorite boy MCA :(

Not in LA so wondered if anyone has heard about the refunds for it.

This concert will not be rescheduled. Ticket-holders can either get refunds at point of purchase or may exchange their tickets for any other available 2009 concert presented by the LA Phil at the Bowl (this does not include lease events). Fee-free exchanges will only be accepted prior to Sept. 24 at the Hollywood Bowl box office, which is open Tues.–Sun., noon-6 p.m., or via U.S. mail. To exchange by mail, send tickets and date preferences to Hollywood Bowl Box Office, P.O. Box 1951, Los Angeles, CA, 90078-1951. If you have questions, please call Audience Services at 323-850-2000.

Yep, I've read that and called the number, they told me to contact ticketmaster so I'm waiting to hear what ticketmaster is gonna do since they were purchased online.

Damn, much thought to Yauch, but I am so disappointed. Can't help it. My homie Milkboy was flying out from Cleveland to see this show. So that's just such a bummer. I hope MCA has a miraculous recovery and is like, "Shit it's on like Donkey Kong" and then decides to play at the Music Box hahahaa.

The Music Box show was amazing.

Not as amazing as the Forum show awhile back...

I repeat: you will lose money from the Hollywood Bowl and Congress Theatre if you previously purchased tickets.

I would rather that money go to cancer research.

If you bought tickets online, for some insane reason they have to be MAILED back to them before they will issue a refund. No automatic refund issued to your credit card, like other cancellations on their roster. BALONEY.(n)

i purchased mine in April during the "5 or more" promotion and am receiving a refund on my card according to the hollywood bowl rep I spoke with...

got the refund minus convenience charges. lost about $30 between the Congress show and Hollywood Bowl...


edit: just checked my statement and it looks like frontgate gave in to the pressure and refunded the service charge for the Congress show. two refunds for $98.20 for a $101.20 purchase

same here with the congress tix charge...but i havent recieve any of my Hollywood Bowl refunds....
