A thread to post pictures of the instruments you own, desire, or admire.
I'll start by posting some (found) photos of the two basses I regularly pluck.
Fender Mexican Standard Precision Bass
Good spec Mexican model (= shitty spec American model) with American parts. It's quite a nice instrument, but the bridge constantly needs tightening after each play.

Fender Jaguar Bass
The sex. Seriously. Not only is it a looker, but it plays like an absolute dream, especially when the active circuit is switched on. Pity about the fucking HUM. I have insulated the entire area under the pickguard and I still get the occasional bout of humming :/

Sweet thread:
My guitars: Nothing fancy but they all play real nice.

This one has developed mad fret buzz for some reason, I need to raise the saddle on the low E and the A but I don't have the right size allen wrench so it's been sitting in a bag for awhile :(

I play them through this, serves my purposes in my garage at home:

the first one is a Samick, yeah? I like the designs of them and they come stock with Seymour Duncans which is a plus. I believe they aren't called Samick anymore and are called Greg Bennett guitars.
What's the second one?
Here's my crap..

Boss DR-880

and I'm hopefully getting a set of drums once we get moved and settled in. I'm really not a huge fan of tapping on some pads to make beats.

Do most of my writing on the Yamaha DSI 3000:

When I record I use the Roland Phantom G with a Rode K2 mic:

Saving for this, mainly for when I play at the train station:

Oh my god, I am laughing my ass off right now. I spelled it out, that's how funny it was.
ericlee, yeah, it's a Greg Bennett/Samick PRS copy. I'll never afford a real PRS so I play it and fantasize. The stock pickups are Duncan Designed which are a Seymour Duncan product, but a subpar one at best. I swapped out the neck pickup with an SD-59 but the bridge is still Duncan Designed, sounds like crap. I've been meaning to swap it out for something cool but I never have the money. Maybe a Texas special?
Anyway, guitar number two is a Gretsch electromatic. I love me that rockabilly/hawaiian sound. It was my first guitar.
