Yeah. I wasn't familiar with his schtick but ultimately found it pretty enjoyable.

It was actually pretty much a blast. People were dressed up as characters and even obscure themes from the movie, they were yelling out lines along with the movie. They had a white russian bar and photos, t-shirts, pre-movie entertainment. The guy who inspired "The Dude" was there which was pretty cool and the guys who started the whole craze.

Its along the lines but something different. Star Trek has been done to death and I suppose TBL has been quoted to death but its something different and I can only guess a lot more fun. I still wanna go to one but in the UK, people don't like fun - we are too cynical for it.

The movie is average IMO, so the adoration of characters seems slightly bizarre.

In reality I know some pretty fucking whacked out characters, but hey I've been in AA for quite a few years and before that I spent many moons at the bottom of a bottle. Most fuckers think I'm a fucker, fuckers.

I'd love to go to one someday. I need to put on about 50 pounds and grow a moustache so I can go as the Jesus's sidekick Liam. He's my favorite.

Unrelated news, I am so messed up from West Coast time right now. I need a drink so I can roll with the jetlag. Or is it reverse jetlag? It's Back to the Future!
