That's cool. Yesterday when I went to itunes to purchase it I was assuming it would just be boo yah right on the front page and I was surprised it wasn't. Lol, I think I assume everyone else's musical world revolves around Beastie Boys too. But that's rad it's blowin up! (y)

there's definitely more radio play from their earlier catalog. they will use the Yauch news as the intro and play something from LTI. yesterday it was Paul Revere. they are reporting the news on all different radio genres, from the classic rock morning zoo shows to the indie rock and hip hop stations. it's good to hear MCA get love from radio jockeys across the land...

It actually shows up on my iTunes home page with lime green Beastie Boys font and such. Very cool.

Licensed to Ill is Number 4 in the Hip-Hop Album chart in the USA today.

Crazy?

Apart from MCA's cancer news, I don't see how or why this is? They haven't done any publicity on talk shows of late, only a few concerts/festivals and re-issues is not widely known or publicised? Even Too Many Rappers has not been played on Peak/Prime time radio....

Not that i'm complaining, the more beastie reocrds that get sold the better I say :D
