you eat them and at first you're kind of like "these are pretty tasty", so you keep eating them and you begin to realize "no, wait, they're kind of gross actually, but the first bite is pretty tasty so...maybe just one or two more" and it keeps going like that until eventually you've eaten like half a bag and your stomach hurts and your breath stinks no matter how much you try to brush and just what the hell is a "cool ranch" flavored tortilla chip, anyway?

my mom likes to talk about the days when she used to be into going to comedy clubs and saw jay leno do stand up before he was famous, and how he "used to be funny". when the whole late night talk show battle went on, we chose letterman. and now when she sees a comedian who's unfunny, she says, "that's like, jay leno humor". (y)

So yeah, when I was in The Americas, being the small-minded European that I am, only used things being really small and coming in 2 flavours, I was to say the least, mind blown by all the different shit you could get compared to over here. One of those, was ranch flavoured chips. WTF is ranch flavour? Does it taste like a ranch? I always thought a ranch would taste of cowboys, wooden buildings and cows. Ranch chips do not taste of this.
