The Lord seems to be delivering his message through the means of Jungle these days...

They are feeling the Lord in Baptist Churches, some UK wag has cut a load of videos of the sermons to rave tapes.
There's 2 tracks in the video, the first one "Mr Happy" is quite good in a "reminds me of rave tunes in 1993" way.

I quit the facebook, but when I had it I posted a slew of Baptazia's on my page and it actually helped to get some lurkers from high school to stop telling me when they were going to wash their cars and shit.
love these vids (y)

The editing on this one is particularly clever with both the MC's, it's really well done and must have taken a while.

Haha, good vid! Reminds me of the D'n'B tent at Global Gathering the other night with all the wiggers and blacks in. That was fun.

The music or the images? I've been to many a rave but they never look quite as fucked up as that.
i saw skibadee, ic3, shabba et al plenty of times back in the day, and i never understood the appeal of emcees who don't shut up.

Me neither. I was never all that into my jungle/drum and bass back in the 90's anyway, more my techno. I used to see plenty of big arena Jungle DJ's at things like Helter Skelter and Dreamscape but the only ones I ever liked were Andy C and Hype.

Well the music obviously, but the black dudes I saw with bandanas over their faces spazzing out to mad MCs and shit is kind of reminiscent of the video.

Halcyon days. I still enjoy the odd bounce about but it's so shit and commercial now. 1992-1998 - Nevar forget!! etc

You should have got on a pukka and had a shimmy instead of standing there and probably looking dissaprovingly at people having some fun times. Was Global Gathering any good? Did you catch some Carl Cox action?

Yes I bloody well did! The CC+Friends tent was one of the best ones there, could have stayed there the whole time. Oh, and I did get down to some hectic 'choons' with all the peeps.

You can't beat a bit of Carl. He's one of the few DJ's whose always been consistantly good.
