Ever see a person or animal get hit by a car?

at the LAX airport, on the cross walk there were the parents and the little daughter of theirs carrying around luggage's as a family. Well, no cars were passing and in fact they looked both ways (as did I - I was on other side) so it seemed safe to cross. As they were about to, the little girl, first to take a step foward, barely starts to put her foot on the floor and from out of no where a vehicle bursting in speed, at what I assume would be 30-40mph, comes racing through between my end and their end of the street. I was caught by surprise from the speed of this vehicle, the only thing I could hear was a loud shriek and I was like, "OMG no...". That girl was right there about to walk with both her parent right along side her smiling finally arriving and WHAM! All three of them where missed by a car. They had an angel that day.

I hit a deer once on Whidbey Island up here in Washington State. It jump out on the road from the brush 10 feet in front of me while I was doing about 35 MPH going down a fairly steep hill. When it hit the grill of the car it flip sideways, stared at me for a split second through the windshield, slid up the window over the rooftop and off the hatchback upside down, rolled over, got up back on it's feet looked around the road like "WTF" and leaped back into the brush.

I drove that 85 Honda for 2 years with a deer head dent in the hood.

I ran over 2 cats, not within the same time span. A groundhog, a snake and I hit two birds on the same day. 1 going to work and I had to pull into an inspection bay before I got to work and it was stuck in the grill of my car and when I left work, I hit another with my windshield and I was doing about 95mph so it left a nice crack.

saw a cat run in front of a bus and it pretty much knocked its head off and we went back and it wasnt a pretty sight. we ended up burying the cat after putting in our boot cos it needed moving out of the road. when we were putting it in the car a woman came out to see if we wanted to wash our hands and when we went in her house she had 3 kittens that had been born an hour befoire which was a weird "cirlce of life" type thing

you were moonwalking across an intersection, eating a 6 layer Dagwood while listening to "Eat It" through your headphones and some mullet wearing dude in a chevette listening to meatloaf didn't notice you till the last minute and plowed into you.

I might have told this story here before - I was driving out to the beach with a girl who was a big animal lover, and we ran into a family of raccoons on the highway. I swerved out left and missed all of them except for one, but I nailed that one good. She was mortified. We went skinny-dipping later, but I struck out that night. Go figure. She couldn't let it go. Damn raccoons.

Actually I miss that car. It was a beat up old 80's T-bird that my sister and I shared together, but it had a bumpin sound system. I used to rock the Beasties out those speakers. But I guess being 19 again would be awesome for anybody.

i got hit by a car when i was a kid-knocked off my bike. was ok and soon as i realised i was ok began laughing hysterically-poor bloke that hit me couldn't get much sense out of me

saw someone on a motorbike get knocked off by a car(not sure if it was a man or woman) but will never forget the noise they made-just screaming for dear life. was pretty horific for a wee kid.

never killed anything that i'm aware of but almost cycled into a donkey, pissed up and cycling up a dark road when i lived in Greece.:rolleyes:
