2 years ago today I saw the Beastie Boys at the Opera House in Boston doing the "Mix Up" instrumentals... they had a cake for Adam and we got to sing for HIM "Happy Birthday".. A highlight in my many years of going to shows.. He was very happy...

28 years ago today the Beastie Boys played their first show...

Happy belated birthday! well not really it's still only 10:30PM. I've got this 8 X 1 foot wide framed poster in my living room with you on it! I got to meet you briefly twice and i have a pic of you signing my vinyl anthology! Beastie Boys have been my favorite band for over 20 years, and I'm happy to have grown up with the band through every new release. Anyways thanks for being so cool with fans, down to earth, and putting out the best music. :) Can't wait for Hot Sauce part 6 in about 20 more years!
