The Fallon interview, they talked about recording in Gatesy's mates boat.

The submarine thing was on the Grand Royal site in like 96 or very early 97. It was accompanied with an olde timey picture of a submarine. Aquatic sessions. Reggae influence. They exist. Am I missing something?

One time they mentioned the submarine thing was in an interview with Kurt Loder from MTV prior to Hello Nasty. The were getting drilled with questions about their unique sounds, and I think MCA explained that they took a submarine into the ocean to record the sounds that whales make! Ha ha.
