Who sends this kind of text at 2 in the morning and then doesn't respond with said surprise???

This kept me up all night because I'm practically in love with the dude and he moves to the same city as me tomorrow and I'm terrified and excited and part of me thinks he was about to confess something, hence the "surprise" and part of me says "stfu and stop assuming things, gurl", but I can't help it cause I really feel like something is there but what if nothing is there and I just got three hours of sleep for no reason at all and then he comes out here and doesn't actually like me and I have to deal with that rejection which is gonna totally crush me?

That was a douchy move on his part. I'm sure he didn't mean it but damn, that would keep anyone up at least for an hour or so waiting for the response.

i would reply "watch out for an ass beating"

and then when he questioned that remark, i would explain that i like sleep more than surprises, so he better spill it if he doesn't want to get beat by a girl.

Seriously this is killing me. I have played it pretty cool with this guy but I sent like three texts trying to get him to tell me what the eff he was talking about. GUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Thrilling conclusion to come when we finally hang out for the first time just the two of us.

yeah they're re-editing Say Anything with a scene like that where Cusack texts her and says "lol look outside" and then it cuts to their wedding where they do a WACKY DANCE down the aisle to Chris Brown.

last week I was texting with my ex and he was saying I should go to a party he was at and I was all, "I'll prob just hit on you awkwardly, ima go to bed instead". and he was all, "I wouldn't have minded", and I was all, "WHAT?"
and then no response.

boys are confusing to the max.

I don't know, in my fantasies, he was about to confess something juicy and awesome but then he got scared. He doesn't usually text random nonsense like that, and we don't text much in general.

Well I feel like an idiot. Suffice to say...it was not worth losing sleep over. I guess the secret was my friend is driving with him to LA...the same friend I expressed my girly freakout to about not being able to sleep, who STILL didn't tell me and let me feel like a tool. Thanks, buddy.
