pretty f'ing good. as if I needed another reason to crush on the man.
The cute children's choir was a grand idea too.

Not bad, actually.
I almost didn't give it a chance. I think it may have been the words "Ryan Gosling's" and "band".

or is this why you almost didn't give it a chance?

those few songs are some of the catchiest I've heard it awhile actually. The melodies totally stick in my head.

Yeah, I might just go back to not giving this a chance again.
That Jodeci song brought back memories though.

Saw them live on Monday in Montreal.
Sweetest ass show. Everything started super prompt because they hired a local french kid's choir to fill in for the choir on the record (guessing they couldn't stay up late)
some of their parents were even in front of me in the crowd, so cute.
Show was almost vaudeville-like. Started with a singing cowboy ghost doing covers, then a "mentalist", then a lady doing a sort of Josephine Baker-esque dance routine, then a magician, and then finally the show.
super amazing, great stage set-up and the kids choir looked adorable in their little ghost outfits. They even had one little girl do a cover version of Nancy Sinatra's "bang-bang". super creepy and awe3some.
loved every second of it. They are playing LA for two nights on halloween weekend, making it the perfect holiday entertainment imo (y)

oh, found some footage from some of the shows:

and I just read that they did an open talent call for the opening acts in each city, and rehearsed with a different local children's choir in each city.
pretty radical.
