Damn, recently discovered the album "Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley" by Robert Palmer. Now that's one funky white boy. Great grooves, great song-writing, singing even sounds a bit like Stevie at times.

Further research reveals that The Meters were his backing band on this record. Surely explains the stank on it. And Lowell George of Little Feat fame was involved in the record to some capacity as well.

Wow, you mean to tell me no one feels this album at all? I'm willing to bet y'all just haven't heard it then. That's gotta be the only explanation for the lack of love. :(

Just gave it a sample listen- pretty good although does sort of make me just want to listen to little feat and the meters! but definitely worth a listen, thanks for the heads up on this joint.
