I thinks its because I subconsciously validate or invalidate your opinion on your frequency of posting.

Like he/she has loads of posts - they talk too much
Like he/she has hardly no posts - they ain't part of the community thus they don't know what its like to live the mean streets of BBMB-free

Totally empathesize with that. I have been around since the earliest of days (pre-BBMB). I feel like I post all the time but I have a low post count and what's worse is that no one here seems to know me (now for a collective sigh of sympathy). I seem to go on an extended hiatus every so often (probably the problem). Also I may be autistic in part so my posts may make no sense to normal people. I am glad I keep returning to the only message board I have ever been part of, as you guys are good people and always have been -- even though the handles (and posters) have changed over time :)

Your handle Videodrome stands out for me as I am big fan of David Cronenberg. Saw an exhibit once in NYC of the gynecological instruments for working on mutant women (http://fraser.typepad.com/a_girl_a_gun/2004/07/dead_ringers_cr.html)from the film Dead Ringers.

yeah, when i first saw videodrome i was completely blown away by it. i even wrote a paper on it for one of my essay and research classes in college.

I actually lurked here around early part of 2004. Over a year reading this and that and finally decided to make an account - bailed on it then came back pumping post in 2008. All usually in the Arts thread or in Gaming Journal Thread.
